We are an independent, two-person, company. It is a large, demanding market. Often, projects demand skills and expertise that we do not have. We address client requirments through partnerships with organizations that possess both the necessary skills and share a sustainability focus.
We use this strategy to participate in, and often manage, multi-disciplinary climate resiliency projects. For example, we lead an integrated assessment of the Cooksville Creek Watershed in Mississauga, Ontario, in partnership with Risk Sciences International and Matrix Engineering. Similarly, we completed a climate change vulnerability and risk assessment for the rehabilitation of the Philip Goldson Highway in Belize, in partnership with Golder Associates and Morrison Hershfield. In collaboration with the British Columbia Ministry of Transportation and the Pacific Climate Impacts Consortium, we completed comprehensive vulnerability and risk assessments of a large portion of the Province’s highway system.
In some cases, we develop a special relationship with another company and formally work together to deliver new projects. One key example of this approach is Alberta WaterSMART. We partnered with WaterSMART to provide a comprehensive climate and vulnerability and risk assessment for the City of Calgary. We are formally special advisors to WaterSMART.
If you have a project that you wish to discuss that requires an integrated, multi-disciplinary approach, we can promote that project with our network of partners and establish a team to meet your needs efficiently. Please feel to contact us.
